My sweet lisa
Hereby I would like to introduce you to Lisa. Our Labrador Retriever. She came to us in 2012 when her previous owner could not take care of her anymore. Lisa was 1 1/2 years old and really a very nice dog.
Around Christmas 2013 she became ill.
After many tests and medication, a vet took another blood test.
Meanwhile we are April 2014 and Lisa had a severe anemia.
At the University of Utrecht she received the diagnosis AIHA ( Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia)
Lisa needed a blood transfusion urgently.
In my blog I will write about the treatments she has had and how she is doing right now.
