Our dogs are up to something...
When I see one of our dogs here with such a dirty nose, I immediately have bad suspicions. And I'm going to look ...
Sometimes I dig up bulbs of tulips or gladioli. Or young plants just planted ... It happens very insulting.
But sometimes they just dig holes for their pleasure and then the yard looks like a battlefield after the bombing.
They dig in turns, so as not to get tired too much :)
This time they decided to arrange real archaeological excavations! The pit was so huge that a large dog could fit in it!
I had to take a shovel and dig it all back. After all, it's very dangerous! The earth can collapse and crush someone.
No matter how much you plan your day, the animals will still make their adjustments in the schedule :)

At the Pennsylvania Wolf Sanctuary, the tour guide said they have to put a barrier down about a foot below the fence, then a 90 degree angle, and inwards a couple feet like a shelf to keep the wolves from digging out of their enclosures.
