Horrible morning: I was not just scared, I was terrified!

This morning began with stress. As usual, I got up at five in the morning to let the dogs out into the yard. When I entered the room, I saw that Einstein was sitting in a strange pose and was breathing heavily. I tried to lift it, but its hind legs did not work .... I was horrified. I decided that he was paralyzed! Einstein is already old and very sick, he had two strokes. But all this time he was doing great.
I carefully transferred him on the small carpet and wiped the wool with a damp cloth, because he had pissed, and covered him with a warm blanket. I began to clean up the place where he was sitting and I cried all the time, because I understood that if he was paralyzed, then it would be forever. But then I thought that perhaps he had fallen and sat in such an uncomfortable position (his hind legs went forward) and his hind legs were numb and could not move. I started to give him a massage. Gradually, his paws became warm. After a couple of hours, he was able to walk. It was a great relief.
