Abolitionist Abstractions Vlog 111: Gettin' er done!
Here is today's vlog! It's been a few days since I recorded but that's because I have been busy, busy, busy! Since returning from Murder Dog's second round of treatment in Philly we've been getting_things_done. The broken mirror on the Element was finally repaired, we've gotten to see the kids (although sparingly because they were both under the weather), and I started cranking out hours at the animal rescue like it was my job. The latter may actually turn into just that, so things are definitely looking up!
As for Murder Dog, she's still hanging in there. The reduced dosage of chemo she was given this week seems to have agreed with her much better than the previous higher dose. While she still hasn't had much of an appetite or a desire for too much water, the vomiting and other side effects have been drastically reduced. It doesn't appear that she will need to go back into be seen any earlier this time around, so all in all she is doing rather well. Hopefully that trend will continue!
