Waiting....
Sometimes I wonder what she thinks when she sits there every day waiting for Martin to come home. Death of a loved one affects us all. It's been more than 6 weeks since since he was home. It's heartbreaking to watch her, she will lay down next and put her chin on the window seal until she falls asleep.
I drive truck over the road for a few days at a time. I hate leaving mine behind, I know she gets depressed. Anyone who says dogs aren't a part of the family has never truly loved one.

I just returned home to our young dog after being gone nearly 7 months and I could tell she was counting the days. She also never forgot me and my every command. That is love... and patience!
