Man's best friend

Dog, they are considered as the man's best friend since eternity and a dog back here in Pune has proved how right the phrase is.

Once a stray pup, Brownie, was adopted by Dr sancheti, who gave it a home and healthy food around 16 years ago. The pup which grew in the campus of the apartment where doctor Sancheti lives was loved by all residents.

It was yesterday that the dog behaved very strange. When one of the residents of the society tried to inspect the cause for the dogs strange behaviour, it was found that Dr Sancheti had collapsed in his room. The entire neighborhood was alerted and the door was broken up to take Dr Sancheti to hospital. The doctor had his family out of town when he suffered a cardiac arrest. He was taken to hospital just in time thus revived. The dog's quick presence of mind helped in saving doctor Sancheti's life.

It has been proved again that the dog doesn't have to be of a costly breed to have that presence of mind. A dog is a friend and it will remain one irrespective of it's breed, size and color.
