HURT PUPPY SNUGGLES - Midweek Madness!

It's Midweek Madness!

Poor Baxter skinned his paw on Monday this week!

Baxter's Dad took him to the dog park for some ball chasing time, and while running after the ball he scrapped off some of his paw pad. We are really lucky that it wasn't severe enough that he needed to go to the vet, but we've had to be really careful all week.

That means that this week has been full of lots of snuggles and belly rubs. He has wanted to play so bad, but he also loves a good tummy rub. It has helped to keep his mind off of not being able to run around.

He is doing much better now, and seems to be healing up nicely! (Thank Goodness!) Even though it was because he was hurt, I didn't mind all of the puppy snuggles I got!

    Dogs have a wet nose to collect more of the tiny droplets of smelling chemicals in the air.
