Nixon: Tribute to the best dog ever!

This is Nixon, my friend's dog. I looked after him for 18 months while his owner, my friend, was gone to Bahrain! She was only supposed to be gone for a few months but she ended up having so much fun there that she stayed much longer than expected! No problems here though... Nixon was/is the best dog ever!! He would walk directly next to you without a leash, when you passed by other dogs and they would be barking and going crazy, he wouldn't even flinch! The best thing was, you could tell him to go ahead and he would run around and play on command! then the second you call him back, he would go back to his docile sweet self and just follow along on your right side! Best dog ever and oh so adorable!! Side note, he absolutely loved eating grass! He was half Golden Lab, Quarter Husky and Quarter Pit Bull. And will always be #1 for me!
