CAT VS. DOG PEOPLE: AM I A CAT OR DOG?
The age old comparison of cat vs. dog people has been around longer than anyone can really remember. Everyone’s been asked that question and thought of it as some old linguistic thing people do. However, according to research, the furry friend you prefer says a lot about your personality. Movie genre preferences, favourite past times, and even foods have been attributed to being a factor in these decisions – but much like zodiac signs, it doesn’t necessarily mean much, but it’s still fun to think about.
Cat vs. Dog People: (Not-So) Social Beings
This one’s kind of a no-brainer. Cat people are more likely to be introverts while dog people are usually more social. Interestingly enough, cat people are more open-minded than dog people are to social experiences. This just goes to show that there’s a grey area in everything.
Cat vs. Dog People: Brain Power
According to a study, cat people are smarter than dog people. Why? Well, it’s believed to something with the environment. Dog people are more active and sociable, meaning they’ll be more likely out of the house exercising or hanging out with friends. Cat people, on the other hand, tend to be more introverted, staying at home and reading or watching documentaries. That being said, both cat and dog people are equally likely to get a four-year degree.
City vs. Country
Living environment is something that can be debated. People who prefer cats are more likely to live in the city, while dog people are more likely to live in the country. It makes sense when you think about it, right? Dogs love to play around and be active, while cats like to lounge and relax. That being said, have you ever seen a cat park in the city? 😉
Rebellious or Goodie-Two-Shoes?
Again, this is something that can be debated, but generally speaking, cat people are more likely to be rebellious compared to their dog counterparts. Dog people are more likely to abide by the law supposedly because more conservative-type people are dog owners. Think about it: dogs only ever do anything wrong by accident. Cats purposely push stuff off the counter to make you upset.
Favourite Beatle
Apparently, this is a common enough question to be considered a key point in determining cat vs. dog people: Cat people tend to prefer George Harrison while dog people are Paul McCartney fans. What does that make anyone who likes Lennon or Ringo Star? 😉
So there you have it. Again, these aren’t 100% fact, but there is a bit of truth behind it. Is there anything you agree with? Let us know by sharing your comments.
