A dog's life :)

This is my first post on here and I am excited to see where this new world takes me.

Dog, spelled backwards is God.
Sometimes I wonder, what if these animals were actually sent here with a purpose more than to make us laugh, smile, and be there as a non judgmental shoulder to cry on.
What if these animals were sent to watch over us and secure our happiness.

Dogs do many things for us. They force lazy people to exercise. They get us outside when we normally wouldn't be. They require training for the owner that likely the owner never had before. The need for structure; to feed the animal, to exercise them, to keep them groomed.

All too many people get a dog or puppy because they are "cute" and end up not being able to take care of them as they should be and end up dropping them off at the local shelter. Dogs are suited to individual people's traits, they have lazy dogs for lazy people, they have high energy dogs for high energy people and they have guard dogs for people looking for other uses.

Even when a dog acts up; chews your favorite electronic device or more commonly your retainer, or empties the garbage for you, it's hard to be mad at them for long. After all they don't know what they are doing is wrong. They especially don't realize what they did when you get home from work 4 hours later.

All they thought was "Well if my owner isn't going to pay attention to me I might as well cruise into the garbage for a snack."

Dog's strive for their owners attention and affection. All a dog needs is love, structure, comfort, food, and exercise. Not that hard of a job for a human I would say.

Maybe God put these beautiful animals on the planet for a greater purpose than initially thought.
