Third Screening Success - This documentary on homelessness is just the start

Great screening of my documentary on homelessness Thursday night.

Great audience, with great questions, creating thought-provoking (and emotional) discussion in the theater after viewing my film "The Wall: The Stories of the 2018 Minneapolis Homeless Camp."

For example: What is the best approach to helping those experiencing homelessness and/or drug abuse? What are the causes for the modern rise of these issues? To what degree can money solve this crisis?

No easy answers.

Afterwards, a group of us kept the discussion going while also taking a load off at the restaurant Pracna next door.

This was the third and (as of now) final planned screening of "The Wall." But more are in the works: community events, nonprofits, colleges, religious organizations. I'll update as we schedule. And I'll ask YOU here whether your group (or a group you know) might be interested in hosting a screening event. All money raised, after expenses, goes to help people get out of homelessness and addiction--primarily those who were at this camp The Wall.

Lastly, Thank You. BIG thank you to those who helped put this film and these three successful screenings together--including all my Steemian friends who've offered your support throughout this project.

I will continue covering this issue in the Twin Cities and beyond, as well as branching out to other pressing social issues in need of coverage that strives to avoid agenda and be of service along the way.

This is just the start.
