US cooperates with Masood Azhar, warns China, do not defend Pakistan
The US official said, "We believe that China has the responsibility to not defend Pakistan.
A senior official of the Trump Administration in the US has said that it is China's responsibility to not defend Pakistan and to ask Islamabad to take action against terrorists. He also expressed concern about the obstruction of China by attempting to declare Masse-A-Mohammed's mastermind Masood Azhar as a global terrorist. The US official said, "We believe that China has the responsibility to not defend Pakistan and also stand with the international community in inviting Pakistan to take action on terrorist organizations."
After the Pulwama terror attack, Masood Azhar was tried to declare a global terrorist, but China had put a 'technical stop' in the UN Security Council on the proposal related to it.
Pakistan and China read aloud of each other
The first strategic dialogue between Pakistan and China was the tension between India and Pakistan after the Pulwama terror attack. Beijing requested the international community to see Islamabad's commitment to fight terrorism with a 'fair perspective'. After the Pulwama attack, Pakistan is facing heavy international pressure to restrain terrorist organizations operating from the country.
On February 14, the fidayeen assailant of Jaish-e-Mohammed attacked the convoy of CRPF in Pulwama, Jammu, in which 40 personnel died.
