DnW Poetry Contest #5: "Tempation"
My first entry for the DnW Poetry Contest #5 led by @deeday31 and @kneelyrac. I hope you all will like my piece. Also, if you are a writer or you want to be. Get out of your shell and join this wonderful contest!
She broke the silence,
With only a pair of stiletto.
A tempting pretense,
A present wrapped without a lasso.
A gentleman gazed,
At the beauty of hard-earned labor.
His dreams were staged,
Submitting naked for his honor.
He pulled her closer,
Like a suitor waiting for her 'yes.'
She can't see him clear,
But she's dumb; hoping love in this bliss.
He said, "I love you,"
In sweet tune to pet her in dungeon.
"Sure, I love you too."
But lust is mere infatuation.
Thank you for reading my blog and for the support. Please do check out the contest and also the other entries as well. To those who joined, lets all break a leg! 😊
