I met a boy last summer
He was one of the beautiful ones
Built like an Adonis
I wish he had smiled at me just once

I spent my waking hours thinking about him
And at night he filled my dreams
All i want is a glance from him
Alas, it’s not meant to be, it seems

I know he’s not mine to have
It doesn’t stop me from loving him
If this is infatuation
Then I’ll accept it for him

Later, I tried not to love him
Then he looked at me
His eyes and lips smiled at me
And I fell back under
