BattleBorn Quest 1
This is an entry to the BattleBorn Quest request
Yes it is a bit derivative and a fairly vanilla plot, but it is hard to get something compelling when we don't yet have our cast of player characters fully defined.
As other players may read this and it is a bit of a mystery, the culprit and exact details will be up to the runner of the game.
Plot:
A recently deceased rich merchant's only heir has mysteriously gone missing. The faithful retainer would like her found before the shady aunt swoops in to claim the entire estate.
Cast of Characters:
The Household
*Lamata Kevir, the deceased rich merchant.
*Lorana, the recently orphaned heir.
*Korvan, the old retainer with a checkered past and a fondness for large daggers.
*Tiam, the headstrong kitchen boy who is said to have a crush on Lorana, and who has a bit of a limp.
*Voralo, the chef of the Kevir household, and a crack shot with a bow and arrow. When she can she hunts local game to cook up.
The Relatives
*Morla, the shady aunt with a string of paramours, most of whom ended up mildly insane or lost.
*Neomin, the son of Morla and a compulsive gambler
*Orv and Onan, the twin ancestors of Lamata and Morla said to have posessed a box that contained answers to what happens in the future
The Townsfolk
*Pormandor, the official supposedly in charge of the investigation, who has a habit of making sure things go his way.
*Svenala, the unusual elvish visitor to town, apparently had previous dealings with Lamata
*Kreen, the Dwarf trader in animals, was due to pick up a shipment of sheep from Lamata. Due to the funeral he is still in town and wishes to complete business soon.
