The incompetence at DMV is astounding.

I don't understand how people who have had to go to the DMV or applied for a new passport still have faith in governments.

Why does it take 4 hours waiting lines at the DMV and 12+ weeks to process a simple passport renewal?!?

If they were truly a private company issuing these things they'd be handled in a matter of minutes (as competitors could pop up to offer their better, more timely services).

I just can't understand how people who have gone through these inefficient monopoly processes can still have faith in the governments that manage them.

Imagine if you had to wait in line for 4 hours every time you went to the grocery store.

Imagine your Amazon order taking 12 weeks to get to you… wtf
