Statists can't imagine a world without big daddy government providing everything for them. I don't see how they can't see government as a form of coddling and preventing people from actualizing into critical thinking human beings. Having a big daddy government is like being forced to live with your parents forever. Scary thought to have to experience the outside world and do things for yourself right? They need to get a grip.
