Some ICOs are using it just for a quick capital injection. They spend money on ads, sucker in investors and get in ETH, LTC and BTC and then disappear its become a really profitable exercise. Unfortunatley this abuse has led to bans but i think its a good thing, ICOs will need to rely on merit and engaging with the community to win over investors insted of spamming ads across sites with high traffic volumes or in Google search
