In many ways, this can be advantageous.
Typically, the altcoins lag Bitcoin. So, when investors see bitcoin rising, it's likely a good time to increase holding in altcoins.
However, the dis/advantage of crypto is that it's unregulated, so all of the fiat investment strategies go out the window.
