wow @garrettwallace, thanks for the encouraging notes and highlight the potential of Steem coin.
Actually, when I join Steemit, I merely focus on blogging with articles in the website and make some money out of it. Then when I got into it deeper, and learn from various video in youtube and comment in the psot, then only I realized it is a steem coin which has the potential to be one of the biggest cryptocurrency.
Now that it has such potential, it is a matter of decision whether to invest with real cash and build up the steem power or use articles to gain the steem power. As there are video advocates to invest in small amount of cash to increase the steem power for higher voting advantage. (I hope I got the concept right )
For now, I reckon that it is not an easy task to get steemian to upvote your article. anyway, I am now two weeks into Steemit and yet to see any significant result
