RE: Creepy Smile Hug

Everyone I invite gets disappointed because #introduceyourself posts get way more attention than any post thereafter. The worst part is that, as you say, it's not even legitimate attention. I think that the best strategy for marketing would be starting slow and without much attention and it progressively as they make an effort.

Though, well, a warm welcome is always a nice way to start.

I'm conflicted.

Sort:

You have to wonder how some introductory posts make hundreds of dollars.

I'm almost tempted to steal some pictures of a pretty woman off Google, make an account, make a really flirty introductory post and I'm willing to bet that the money would roll in.

It's super shallow on here, but there's no need to feel conflicted because so is Facebook. Steemit is just more honest about the shallow on this by attaching a dollar value.

And just like on Facebook, once in awhile you'll have a real conversation.

Yeah, a warm welcome is nice. But we error towards Creepy, when we greet anyone at all. :)

I'm not sure what you mean by that last part.
