I was under the impression that it was manual but that you had to meet the criteria of voting 5 times.....etc like you are saying. If it is 100% bot driven that is ridiculous especially in a situation with any kind of content evaluation.
I understood it was a bot vote, but the manually checked who they were voting each day to check for abuse. I might be wrong though I only scanned over the info.
They changed it to one vote every hour or so AND that vote goes to the post that already has the highest reward amount.
