They don't know anything about the subject at hand and they can't remember history, but they steadfastly and increasingly hold angry to an opinion that isn't their own. No matter how many facts you have, or what level of detail you can provide them, you are the pariah. The accusing "what is wrong with you" and "how can you not see" soon follow. But that's the problem. You do see.
Once in a while it's different, often unexpected, and you celebrate signs of life. You glimpse within the shadows the rustling of change, and it instills hope for the continuing journey.
