This video blog post I have made is to serve a purpose of reminding you all of our upcoming major Uganda steemit Meet up which is scheduled to take place on 2nd/june/2018 that is on Saturday in kampala which is our capital city. This is something very great that we can’t take lightly. Meet ups are always important as they have various benefits that build up the community. Am a product of the very first major Uganda Steemit Meet up that was at the beginning of this year where as a newbie who was just 2 weeks on the platform by then I acquired a great lot of knowledge about Steemit from the various speakers who were already exposed to the platform for some good number of months.

These are the reasons for this meet up:

To encourage our selves amidst the major low crypto prices that we are all facing. You all realise the long prevailing low prices of crypto going on and this has led to the decline on the activity of many steemians not only here in Uganda but also other nations. This meet up is going to serve a purpose of encouraging ourselves through sharing various business motivational talks in order to ignite the desire in every steemian to continue steeming like never before amidst the challenge before us.

To have fun as a Steemit Uganda Community. As you are all aware that steemit is a very exciting platform therefore we are going to reflect this fun offline through this meet up. We will be sharing some snacks and drinks as the session goes on. We will all be sharing our wonderful experiences we have had since we joined the platform.

To relate more closely as a family that is through getting to know ourselves more, being that there has been a drastic increase on the number of steemians and many of these steemians are scattered all over the different districts of Uganda. Through this meet up I believe it’s going to bring many of us together to ensure a smooth journey and a wonderful experience on the platform.

To encourage many to engage themselves in promoting Steemit because we have realised that many have given up on promoting Steemit. Therefore this meet up will serve a purpose of fuelling many steemians up to get out of their comfort zones and spread the incredible news about Steemit to the rest of their relatives, colleagues and strangers being that this platform is meant for everyone.

To Sensitise many about the different Dapps suchas Dlive, Dtube, Dsound, Dmania Steepshot, Utopian.io, Zappl. I have come to the realisation that many steemians are locked up on only one style of blogging and that is written blogs but through this meet up, a change is coming where many have got to adopt other dapps suchas dtube, dlive and the rest, through sharing videos. I will guide them over that as instructed by one of my Steemit friend and follower whose name am not going to disclose here as per now.

To mentor many newbies on how to make good quality blog posts that will fetch them great upvotes from the Steemit whales and dolphins.

To sensitise people about cryptocurrency and a couple of different cryptos on the coin market cap with the main focus on steem. Being that we are doing whatever we are doing on the steem blockchain.

To Sensitise many about the different chart platforms suchas Steemit chart, Discord, telegram that can be used in effective communication and building close relationships with the fellow steemians. Keeping in touch with people that follow you and support your blog posts is very vital in order to ensure their continuous support for you. Therefore this is something that is worth ironing out on this event come that day.

There will be some lessons and discussions on trading as well. Personally am still a junior in this area of trading yet I very much have a desire to get involved in trading. Through this meet up I look forward to picking up some great knowledge from those that have done some crypto trading so fars.
