Today I'll be creating designs for Steemit and Instagram using Adobe Illustator. If there's time, I'll also be animating the designs using Adobe After Effects.

Creating Designs In Illustrator

The goal is to create designs that are informational, eye-catching and engaging for audiences. I want them to be clean, have a professional feel, and be easy to duplicate or modify, so that the rest of my team @moneymatchgaming can also use them. The designs should fit 3 format sizes(though I'll probably only focus on finishing up 2 of each today) and should fit Instagram feed and stories format sizes( feed is any square over 480x480, stories is 1080x1920, I like to use 1080x720 for Steemit).

I'll be using popular publications as my source of inspiration. I'm focusing on popular pages with unique stories, a constant theme, and or media/news publication based.

The Objective

I'm the designer in our group, so these type of projects typically fall into my lap and then I'll pass it onto the team in the form of a finished file or a template. Today, I'm inviting you on part of the journey as I do all that I've mentioned above.

If you're interested in creating designs like these, get yourself a copy of Adobe Illustrator and follow along. I'll answer any design related questions as I stream. Also, if we're lucky, I'll be able to capture today's stream and turn it into a speed-art video(fingers crossed).
