dlive stopped working the instant i sent that last message, i seem to get that sometimes
bunker punks is a procedurally generated FPS loot thing at least slightly similar to what you're doing

yeah that sounds a lot more appealing to me, the handcrafted elements of some WADs takes a big shit on any sort of game relying heavily on procedural generation
and it seems like a lot of games lack finely tuned maps with cool sections in favour of just cool environments, so i think level design of WADs is ahead of a lot of AAA games in terms of design
anything specific which made you pick UE4?
i've never developed anything, i just remember about a year ago it seemed like most devs struggled to pick between unity and UE4, but it seems like unity is falling out of favour now
there's always someone ready to complain when they hear a game runs on unity, i haven't seen that with UE4
