[oo5] #tenminteach — Using Restream.io to post your Stream to DLive as RTMP
Every thought how to stream to @dlive but to other streaming platforms like twitch and youtube at the same time? Is this something that you need to do for multiple audiences on different platforms? Well if so then restream.io is for you! :)
One of the reasons why I like restream.io is that you can forward your existing stream (say you stream to twitch) to @dlive easily and have it recode at a different bitrate that works with @dlive — you could also set a timer and get people to head over to your twitch channel AFTER those two hours before you restart the stream up again over there.
It’s a super power tool if you want to be streaming out to multiple channels and you want a service to handle that for you. This is awesome, thank you! I have a YouTube channel and I livestream, and I was wondering how to do it on multiple platforms, simultaneously, if that was even possible. I’m glad to know it is, thanks for sharing. I’ll give it a try and let you know what I think.

@teamhumble any free alternatives that you can do a custom rmtp and another source as well?
nothing is free you will find when it's moving lots of data when it comes to video streaming. i've not seen anything that's free that does this, if your doing well it's worth paying the fee! :) i never skimp on these 'interconnect' services -- you might be able to setup some kind of local home brew or cloud relay but then you have all the effort of maintaining that, personally i don't know what services you would need but i'd guess someone on github has made something.
