EMPOWERMENT OF YOUTH...... STEEMIT CHANGING LIVES
PROMISE KEPT THANK YOU STEEMIT
today we were able to by the sewing machine for the woman begging on the streets with children. We realized that it is not everyday that we can give to her and even though we decided to give out money for the next one month to support needy people on the streets, we realized by empowering her to generate money by working again as a seamstress she can make something for herself. We went to a tailor shop and bought a brand new butterfly sewing machine for her with $60 and also added additional $40 to buy supplies to start work immediately and it was all joy when she finally got the machine. Our goal to to rent her a store to even help her train more. The parent were amazed as to how some one who is not from their tribe and religion can actually help their child with any limitations. We as a foundation stand for equality and I believe helping this lady out was something we have portioned in our hearts to do as a mission regardless of whatever happens. We have decided to help more ladies of her type by setting up a free training center to help young ladies like her and we are starting with her.She gave birth a teenager and it was her wish that a lot of her kind will live a better life and not fall for early marriage which she believes destroy lives.
MOVING FORWARD
As a small team we are preparing to launch our foundation and also our first project called SABI and also we are hoping to empower more ladies and the youth who for some reasons have nothing to do and teach them how to make something with steemit. We believe that one does not need millions in order to change lives and with the little support we can transform more lives. With the little opportunity we have let transform lives.
