River Rafting in Teesta, Sikkim

I told you guys in my last post that I will tell you a funny thing and my experience. When we come to Siliguri from Gangtok, there is a Teesta river on the way where we stand for rafting. There, we asked at the rafting counter that how much a person's fees would be for acting. They told us that we do not take the fee for a man. You have to do a lot of reserves to act more. We paid Rs.4000/- reserve the boat for rafting.

One of their cars came and took us all to banks of the river. After reaching the river banks, they gave us to wear safety suits. After wearing the safety suit we started touching the water along the banks of the river. The water was very cold because River water started from the glacier. The boaters started preparing their boats for us. After preparing the boat, they had to complete the check and we sit on the boat. Prior to sitting in the boat, the driver of the boat, he tried to keep us safe training. This is my first time rafting in my life with my sons.

The flow of water was quite fast. In many places, small waves were rising. And we were enjoying lots at the same place. There was also a great danger and was also fun.
