War Thunder Livestream #8 The American Naval Bomber The PBY-5 Catalina

Hello and welcome my name is Rambo64bit and today I will be taking to the skies in PBY-5 and PBY-5a Catalina. The role of the Catalina at the beginning of the war was aerial reconnaissance, torpedo bomber, front line bomber and naval rescue. The Catalina has served many nation's such as U.S.A. ,Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the Netherlands and the Soviet Union. Its major role was the elimination of the U-boats that plagued the Atlantic allied forces from reaching Europe. The PBY-5 was used in the reconnaissance mission of locating the Japanese Fleet at Midway.
