A little bit scary? I think it's a lot scary, and outrageous! Google already fills in my iPhone diary, using info from my Gmail emails, and it often gets things wrong - eg, filling in events that friends are going to as if it's me who's going. I'm trying to move away from Gmail.

As mentioned, I always have mixed feelings about these kinds of things. These mega organizations offer us some very convenient tools but in return, they gather our personal data and make huge sums of money off of it.
