This whole process of volumes and rebating is not sustainable for a number of reasons. The biggest being that it will disincentivize the use of the Ethereum network for legit projects which will hurt overall demand and result in lower prices across the network. Unfortunately, this will lead to higher transaction fees and less future potential airdrops as they will have a negative perception due to this.
