Ono Presentation in the EOS Philippines Meet up

Last August 17 I attended an EOS meet up in Arthaland Century Pacific Tower in Bonifacio Global City in Manila.

Several guests were present that presented some of the local Dapps that were being created for the EOS blockchain or based on the EOS.IO technology.

I was there because I wanted to meet some of the people behind Ono, a decentralized social media platform that was developed by Nome Tech which is headed by their CEO Xu Ke.

She was not able to join this leg but discussion Ono and the platform was Yongchao Chen, who is the CTO of Nometech and Young Song who is handling communication for Ono. We also had John Milburn who is a technical adviser for Ono, bringing in expertise in the EOS blockchain technology.

Young Song discussed what Ono was and what it wanted to create.

At such events it is great to be able to discuss with other people their projects and vision for the blockchain.

Some of the other speakers were Gautam Anand who is creating a disaster relief application that can be used by the government and private sectors for disaster coordination.

Paul Gadi is creating a project that will revolutionize the gaming industry economy by having game economies transferred to other games and so it is not limited to their own world or platform.

Brock Pierce was also a guest that discussed what EOS is all about and his vision for the technology in creating a better world.

There were a lot of great people that looks like they want to do that and change the way we live by using the EOS platform.

It was a very fruitful meet up and I could also say very inspiring because of hearing the visions of these people.
