LOA Book Club Week 9 - "Ask And It Is Given" by Esther and Jerry Hicks
A handful of amazing Steem Creators got together to read and discuss books and videos based around the Law of Attraction.
I am a little behind in posting so this comes from our ninth week when we read possibly the best known law of attraction book of all, "Ask And It Is Given" by Abraham, Esther, and Jerry Hicks. For those not familiar with the teachings of Abraham it can be a little scary but there is nothing to be afraid of. Like all philosophy, you can take what resonates with you and leave the rest. This book has changed the lives of millions and is at the forefront of the LOA movement. Basically, if you are at all interested in Law of Attraction you have to read this book.
The group this week is comprised of some amazing human beings that you will be delighted to hear from. First, Carly @ogc, she has been involved and working with personal growth for many years. She has an open mind, an authentic voice, and a unique point of view. Next, Dan Fishman @hypnopreneur. He has practiced expertise on these subjects, a master of NLP, Hypnosis, and self-discovery. He has great insight into what blocks most of us from living the life of your dreams. Brittany Ryan @brittanyryan who grew up on LOA and has been practicing creating her life for 20 plus years. She has a fascinating insight into these techniques. Lastly, me @larrymorrison, who is also an entrepreneur and helper of humanity. I have been writing and speaking almost exclusively about the Law of Attraction on the Steemit Platform and attempt to make talking about these concepts easy and fun.
During the discussion, we talk about being aware of what we are putting out in the Universe with what is coming out of our mouths, being harmony with our inner selves, feeling unconditional love, taking our power back with unconditional happiness, understanding how many unseen forces are there to help us.

I have had no internet for a few days at work where I do 90%of my blogging from on 10hour shifts , I'm hoping to listen to it before I leave or when I get home in the morning before I go to sleep as my data is now really low. I can't wait to watch it 👌😊👍

Interesting. All I know about LOA is from the book The Secret.
If I were somewhere near toronto or in a normal country in the world where a college professor could book a flight and just go and come back, I'd be delighted to attend.
But, I'm in Venezuela, so i'll be following you and hopefully i'll learn some strategy to attract my way out of this mess :)
Have a great Conference, @larrymorrison.
Awesome work! Congrats on a successful episode.

Ooh I’ve been meaning to read this book. I’ve just been getting into Abraham Hicks and want to dive deeper.
Thanks for the push to make it happen! Maybe I’ll try to get it for the plane ride over to Toronto. :)
Oh yes do! I would love to talk to you about it. It is a deep book but mind blowing and like the major reason law of attraction became mainstream

I really believe thinking positive and being positive will draw positive energy as apposed to being negative and subconciously bringing negative energy to your life. I also believe if you surround yourself with Negative people in your life that energy will spread to everyone around them. I really believe we can attract more positive vibes into our life by not only trying to be more positive but also being around more positive people and picking up those vibes from them! I really liked the mindset and agree with the comments from your guest @happymoneyman , I feel the same way about wanting and having. I loved all the comments from all your guests, and @ogc and "finding yourself" it was a great show! I did not read this book or any of these types of books, but it sounds fascinating @larrymorrison , and would be a great read.👌💕✌
Completely agree, when I put this club together I always hoped we would read this book and have this discussion. So grateful to have positive people them in my life. Super glad you liked the video and appreciate the comment.
