Delicious Fresh Sweet Asparagus Japanese Tempura!
My mother grows asparagus in her garden and we have been picking lots of them, today I picked some so she made asparagus tempura!
Fresh asparagus is so juicy, do you see water dripping as soon as I chop them off?
Nothing is better than freshly picked veges!
Fresh asparagus tempura is so good, they are juicy, sweet and soft inside and outside is nice and crispy!
oh my goodness, either you like vegetable or not, I really want you to try them!

What is tempura?
Have you ever tried tempura before?
If you have been to Japanese restaurant, they usually have tempura in their menu.
It's deep fried crispy but airy traditional japanese fried food!
Since they are airy and light, they are not heavy like other thick battered fried food, so you can eat lots of them without feeling sick!
Where can you get tempura powder?
You can buy this fail proof tempura power at japanese supermarket or you can make it your own!
There are so many good recipe online, it's very easy!
Why do we use the tempura power? because... it's handy! XD
Cooking asparagus tempura is super easy!
- Cut asparagus to 2 or 3 inches long
- Make tempura batter
- Dip asparagus in to batter
- Fry them for 1 min (since they are fresh, they are very soft so 1 min is good enough)
- Done! Yummy time~! I recommend you to eat with mentsuyu sauce (broth and soy sauce mixed sauce) or salt is good too!

When you order tempura at japanese cuisine, they are expensive but now you know how easy it is, you don't have to spend fortune!
It is good way for kids to eat vegetable :)

アスパラの季節ですねぇ〜毎日収穫して食べているのですが、今日はアスパラの天ぷらを作ったので外国の方向けに動画を作ってみました!
アスパラは収穫したとたん水が滴ってきます、なのですぐ水の入ったコップに入れて鮮度を保ちます。
新鮮なアスパラは柔らかく、甘く、みずみずしい・・・天ぷらにすると衣はカリッ、中はジューシーで最高です♬
