The free boat service arrives every fifteen minutes at Sathorn Pier Bangkok. The journey takes about ten minutes to arrive at the Asiatique Pier. There are over one thousand shops and lots of restaurants & bars for your choosing. The evening atmosphere by the the river front together with changing colours of the sunset make it a very enjoyable and memorable evening out by the river.

This place used to be the first international port of Siam built during the reign of King Rama V with the assistance of a Dutch company. The international trade raised the status of the country and brought in funds for the modernisation of Siam amidst the critical period of colonisation by European countries. The drastic modernisation process and adjustments inside Siam made it possible to enable Siam to maintain her sovereignty and independence. Now this historical place has become a tourist sightseeing spot by the Chao Phraya River.

ปัจจุบันกลายเป็นสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวยอดนิยมแห่งหนึ่งในกรุงเทพ มีร้านขายของมากกว่าพันร้าน และมีร้านอาหารนานาชาติ และบาร์มากว่าร้อยแห่งให้เลือกตามใจชอบ บรรยากาศตอนเย็นน่าสบายมาก คนชอบมาดูพระอาทิตย์ตก และถ่ายรูปวิวแม่นํ้า มีของเลนสำหรับเด็ก และมีชิงช้าสวรรค์ขนาดใหญ่ให้นั่งดูวิวจากมุมสูงด้วย เราชอบนั่งเรือเล่น ดูคลื่นและวิวตามริมแม่นํ้ามาก ทำให้ได้พลังดีๆกลับบ้านด้วย
