Yes, in my opinion the Powering Down by Ned can due to any reason and if people making post with their own opinions for that stuff then that making no sense. And we have to understand one thing that Steemit Inc is largest Stake Holder but not the only Stake Holder and if Steemit Inc Shut down in future, Steem Blockchain will stay active, it's better to stay out of the speculations and concentrate of good stuff or more stuff which can expand the user base of Steem.
And yes, the biggest drawback of Steem is, who have large amount of stake they have strongest voice and Steemians who have less Stake then they can be easily suppressed, and many users are made Steemit as only Income source if they face any Flag wars then that can destroy their account and also in-turn their life can change in an negative way.
And good to know about the Dlive Application and in my opinion Dlive took many good initiatives in short time and it's really appreciable.
