Hmmm... I have always been taught that matcha is directly from China, coming over around AD 1000 pretty much exactly as is today. Tea ceremony changed big time in Japan, but the matcha itself is always credited to China. If there was a stopover in Korea in between that transmission, it wasn't told to me nor is it recorded in any of the writing I've read on the matter.

(but, observing something quickly here, pronunciation-wise, Matcha is a 100% Korean thing, they have a lot of words with that tcha sound, Chinese - not really.)
First of all i want to say that, there is nothing bad in promotion because promotion is an ancient concept so you have done an right thing to get the right exposure for something good. And literally these words for tea is awesome and reflects that how much you like tea, and i personally drink tea a lot and my average for day is 5 cups and for me the taste remains the same and i never get bored with it. And good to see your beautiful Kitchen which have the ancient essence and reflecting as an ancient man is enjoying ancient tea at ancient place. Ha ha, good to see that you don't want to waste a drop of the tea and how you said drip drip. Thanks for introducing that 550 years old vessel with us and yes, it's not reflecting the piece of this era. Yes, there are many flavours of tea in this world and in my opinion most of the people prefer one which really gives the refreshing essence.
