    I highly doubt that Google will and can push their own blockchain soon: it's a messy area and Google is usually very conservative there.

    bitcoin got the main blockchain everything else is a lot more insecure

    Thanks as always for your updates. You really never miss one day do you? 👍

    Do be honest I really think that the word "Blockchain" gets thrown around far too often nowadays just to get more attention from the media.

    What in my opinion really defines a Blockchain is a decentralized consensus protocol which can be used by anyone to rune a node and confirm transaction and get rewards from it otherwise nobody would want to run . This protocol Google is using for example is just a centralized system with no rewards and could also be defined as simple multiple copies of a database in the cloud on different internal servers. Nothing public and nothing really decentralized. But that is just my thought on all that and I would be very glad do your opinions out there.

    I think that the FANG companies like the idea of capturing a market and controlling it. Therefore I can't see them rolling out blockchain infrastructure without them designing in a choke point that they control. It does not seem right to me that a company can on the one hand ban crypto adverts on one of its platforms while rolling out blockchain infrastrcuture via another platform. Conflict of interest ..... ??

    Wait, Google said they were blocking all crypto advertising. Oh, they bamboozled us! Smart though. Some out competition before the game even begins.
