On the homestead the cycle of life is all around. Part of that cycle is the death of organism. Death is needed in a lot of cases to make room for new life. Permaculture and Nature has taught us that there is no waist in Nature. When ever death occurs in Nature it becomes food and nutrients for the life around it. Whether the death is from a plant or an animal the bi product will go into an animal to feed them or into the ground to feed plants and insects.
