DLive - My Thoughts And Tutorial To Set Gaming Stream

5 Steps To Set Your Stream Up
1. Visit DLive and connect with your Steem-account.
- in the upper right corner, press Go Live and get directed on screen similar to this ->
create a thumbnail using free tool like Canva
write a short description about your stream
make sure to put correct tags (Gaming,Entertainment etc)
Encoder authentication will be located here as well
2. Download Open Broadcaster Software
do that instantly for free by clicking HERE.
make sure to get the one that fits your operating system and possibilities
install the software
3. Set Your OBS Up:
File - Settings and you will be prompted to a screen like this:
Stream - Stream Type and make sure you select Custom Streaming Server
check box Use Authentication
put in all the information you got from your Encoder mentioned earlier, apply
4. Add Your Game Capture
on the OBS app main page, go on Sources - Add - Game Capture
name it after the game .exe preferably
you will be prompted on a screen like this
you can capture any fullscreen app or specific window if you prefer more privacy (for tabbing out etc)
5. Few More Clicks And You Ready
hit Next on your DLive setup and get here ->
you will get a chance to edit your Steemit post, before posting your stream
after posting it, you will need to press Start in order to begin streaming
after that you have to press Start Streaming on your OBS as well
- Voila! Your stream is launched, start playing 😊

Its really nice that people stream on Dlive. In my opinion Dlive has really big potential and hopefully its gonna attract many streamers.I personally watch streamers on other platforms every day but I think its time for me to start watching people on Dlive too ! Hopefully Dlive could make something like "Mobile notification" when someone goes live, for example when you go live.I'd get informed and I'd be able to come and hang out with the chat and watch you stream.

As a streamer on Twitch I've been very interested in DLive. Sadly though every time I tried to access dlive.io I get a network timed out error ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT. Thanks to your article I found that it was because I need to be going to www.dlive.io/#/ and not just dlive.io. Thank you!
I have been having an issue logging into DLive that I'm hoping you can give me some insight as to what is going wrong. I have 2 Steem/Steemit accounts. This one which is my main account, which I plan to use for my content creation. I also have a secondary account which I use mostly for viewing and commenting on more sensitive/controversial content matter. At least that is the plan seeing that I am new to all this. Anyway, I used my secondary account to login to DLive for the first time. I have since logged out of that account from DLive and Steemit. I've then logged into this account here on Steemit, yet, when I go to log into my DLive account it is automatically logging me into my other account there. This is getting very annoying as I would like to start live streaming there with my branded account (this one) and simply can not log in.
