Halo Wars Mission 7: Scarab Speed Run / Strategy Guide in 2:18

This is an individual level speedrun for Halo Wars' seventh mission, "Scarab". I'll describe what I do and why in text.

This mission requires extremely precise micro-management and quite a ton of luck in order to succeed in a very quick time. First, as the black fades in, I mash select to start building Scorpion tanks, then go for two warthogs and the grenadier upgrade, and two extra vehicle depots, while pushing my units toward the first power node on the right.

I want the scarab tracking beam to me moving toward the left so my units can run down the middle, while I have Forge or other units play with the beam to keep it away from the cluster of units pelting it.

When the second vehicle depot is finished, I make canister shell immediately, then click more tanks. When the third depot is finished, I recycle the single reactor and build another.

I use the MAC cannon twice in a row whenever it's convenient.
