How to setup a DLive stream and broadcast your Xbox One gameplay live.
DLive is growing larger each and every day, the content that broadcasters are posting is amazing. It ranges from gameplay, to learning & educational videos to every day vlogs. There are some limitations people can run into if they don't have the knowledge but in this post I will explain how users can stream their Xbox One straight to DLive using a PC.
Setup Introduction
You can stream your Xbox One straight to your Windows 10 PC using the Xbox application on your computer.
Below I will list the requirements that Microsoft recommend for the best performance and quality of your stream. You want to ensure that both of your devices are wired through an Ethernet cable, using WiFi can drop frames and spike your stream.
System Requirements
At least 2 gigabytes of RAM
1.5 GHz CPU or faster
Network connection to your home network:
Best performance: Wired Ethernet connection
If your PC doesn't meet these requirements then your streams will be extremely laggy and drop frames. Xbox One streaming from Windows 10 requires a lot of bandwidth so I recommend 10 mb upload speed, that's honestly more than enough to get a high quality stream. It is also noted that DLive host their servers in NA.
Because OBS is required for DLive you unfortunately cannot use the onboard Xbox service Mixer, but now I will go through on how to broadcast your stream.
To begin you can setup your devices together, then open the Xbox application on your Windows 10 PC. You can find the Xbox application by just searching "Xbox" in the search menu of Windows.
Next, once Xbox has opened you will see a window that enables you to stream your content. You can go ahead and add your Xbox. More information here regarding adding a device
You can continue to follow this guide until you have successfully added your device and started streaming from your Xbox to your PC.
Once your screen looks like the image below, you can then setup your OBS to capture your display window, add in your overlays and donation alerts.
In OBS you can open "Game Capture" and name your preset Xbox, then you can follow the settings I used.
After that is all done, you can update your quality of Stream on Xbox and continue to fix your settings until they are perfect.
Two monitors are perfect for this so you can view your chat & stream at the same time whilst playing, but if you don't it doesn't matter, you can do all this from your mobile.
And it's a success!

Thanks for sharing! I actually was not able to download the updated version of the xbox app on windows 10. The app directs me to microsoft store but then does not allow me to download the update, I am stuck. If you happen to know how to solve I'd be so grateful :) thanks
Is your xbox live email address the same as the Windows 10 user? Also the app store on Windows 10 really sucks, you can try downloading the Xbox beta app and see if that gives you the updated version, if all fails try updating your OS.
I solved it thanks @cheech-oz had to clear cash and update windows then it allowed me to update the app. Weird but it worked.
Glad it worked, and yeah Windows 10 is so weird right.
