Creating EOS Accounts Through The Command Line

I have wanted to show everyone how to create a new EOS account from the command line for awhile now. It is a little less intuitive than you would initially think. In this video I show you how to do it but unfortunately the Jungle testnet is suddenly frozen up. Regardless the command will work on the mainnet. You will just have to adjust the the amounts slightly depending on ram prices.

    Here is the command.

    cleos system newaccount [original-account] [new-account] --stake-net "0.0010 EOS" --stake-cpu "0.0010 EOS" --buy-ram-kbytes "3" PublicOwnerKey PublicActiveKey

    Also don't forget the --url part to connect to the testnet or mainnet as well.
