I think sola has a pretty big opportunity for taking off. Your commentary was very choppy idk if it is my wifi or dlive.
I think if I understood u correctly (again very choppy) audio you're incorrect about it being like "keeping up with the joneses"over on sola, at least IMO. Don't ever use your sol to buy AP.
I have yet to do a cash out there but papa pepper has made >2000 sol and that was probably a couple weeks ago and it was worth $80 USD at the time which isn't the best but not horrible.
Now they are doing this pro content thing that hasn't cost me anymore to participate in.
Again i'm saying this because the video was choppy on my end and not necessarily reflective of all your viewpoints
I just always felt like if you don't "tip" people more to flew on everyone then it won't be visible that you are there in support. I wonder if Papa made a lot of that SOL from the affiliate link he had up for awhile. He says he still posts there once a day or so but he got really mad about it because they shut his account down for a week.
You cant post if you don't have adequate AP and those are in part EARNED they have an algorithm to see how time is spent browsing others cards to gauge user engagement on a DAILY basis. I like that feature. If you're spending more time on just your own stuff then you might have AP issues.
Not saying papa doesn't support steemians but as you know there's no real incentive for some whales here to "help" or "browse" content here on steemit. You and me both know that one major supporter on here dropping their support on your blogs for whatever reason happens. And it sucks.
Sola seems to have better things in place to make sure people aren't just trying to "steal the spotlight. "
You get charged more to post an item too if you're trying to post several a day. Which helps prevent haejin like activity.
Steemit is definitely more lucrative at this time.
