The firmware adds some very advanced tonal processing plugins (dynamic eq & multiband compression). From what I've been told by my rep is that the firmware updates will continue to be quite exciting. The platform the dlive series is built on has some incredible processing power that a&h has room to continue software/firmware development for this particular line.
I would find a dealer or a rep to demo a unit to get the workflow and feel for yourself. Personally, I would take a qu or dlive from a&h over x-32 anyday.
