🤸 Acro Lingo #4 - Whips! 🤸

Thank you all for checking out my series of videos on acroyoga terminology! In the last videos I showed you two different "washing machines" and also "pops". If you haven't seen those videos, take a look. In acroyoga, a "washing machine" is a combination of different poses chained together to make a sequence that repeats its self. "Pops" are dynamic throws. The base throws the flyer into the air and caughts them safely.

Today I wanted to show you something a little different. In this @dlive video, I will be showing you "whips"! This skill is a little more advanced because the base and flyer both have to be very precise. Whips are a skill that allows the flyer to swing through the bases legs swiftly. When the timing is right these can be very smooth. The flyer will be doing a front or back flip rotation while pivoting on the bases feet.
