Hamid Khan vashani
Maulana Abdur Hamid Khan Bhasani was born in 1880 in Sirajganj district.
In 1919, he started his political career by joining the anti-British non-cooperation movement.
In 1949 he founded Awami Muslim League.
He was involved in the struggle for the interests of peasants and laborers in his lifetime.
The great leader died in 1976........
