Actually bitcoin and all cryptocurrency is the solution to avoid the collapse. As people migrate over, we will see less of an impact as the present system starts to unravel. This will provide the defense against what the doomers are warning about.

I think the reason why the US is negative on the blockchain is because it might really overpower the fiat and thus replacing it as the world currency..
