Of the more than 7.8 million videos that were taken down for violating YouTube's community guidelines, 81 percent were detected by the company's automated systems. And the majority of those videos -- 74.5 percent -- didn't receive a single view before being detected. Nearly three-quarters of the removed videos were spam, while videos violating child safety and adult content rules each accounted for 10 percent of what was taken down. Only 0.4 percent of removed videos included content that promoted violence or violent extremism.

YouTube censorship is a big deal and these algorithms can easily be used against content they deem undesirable due to political reasons. But most of these deleted videos were actually spam. That brings us another question. How are things going to go with https://d.tube and similar projects? Spam will become a problem and there are many accusations against the RC system. But without making things a sort of a pay to play, STEEM will face many troubles and inconveniences. We need the incentive systems to make people add valuable content. But the only way to do that has been making the addition of new content more difficult and expensive. Just think about this for a while when you talk about STEEM and content creation.
